The first Midwest Regional Weigh-In was held at the home of Jan and Bill Berning in Sycamore, IL on July 2, 2006.  Sixteen scale collectors and spouses from Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Tennessee and Wisconsin attended a pot-luck lunch and get-together.  Collectors brought scales to show and sell as well as albums to share.
